I am a native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese with a BA on Biology and a MA in Botany and a perfectionist in all that relates to the written word.

In-house position as a Project Manager and Portuguese translator in one of Israels major translation and localization companies (4 years):
- As a Project Manager, my main responsibilities were the leadership of engineering teams; the allocation and tracking of tasks following internal guidelines and processes; the creation, validation and updating of project plans; the daily customer liaison and progress reporting. In post-implementation, I remained the single point of contact for customers and managed their adds/moves/changes.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the translation industry acquired through full-time positions with leading translation agencies.
- Experience of working in Israel, Brazil and Portugal, with extensive knowledge of the culture and work practices of these countries.
Working as a Freenancer translator from 1995: I provide language services to corporations and translation agencies translation, subtitling, review, proofreading, DTP and project management.
