As co-owner of Dutch translation agencies ChipShape (1987-1996) and The Sweatshop (1996-1999), I worked with many major localization organizations for virtually all leading software and hardware vendors. Projects range from a variety of PC consumer products & specialized products (software, help, HTML, XML, SGML and documentation), through hardware documentation, ERP products, web site content, documentation with telecommunication products, to marketing material and press releases. Since establishing myself as a solo freelance translator/editor in May 1999, I still cooperate with most of my former clients. Furthermore, I have extended my client base from then on.
