Professional experience :
For the past 15 years I worked as a translator for a major Canadian retailer. My job entailed translation, revision and proofreading of a wide variety of documents, including instructional memos and letters requiring clarity and precision, complex manuals requiring extensive research and attention to detail, and various forms of advertising requiring a thorough knowledge and sense of the Quebec culture and market. In the fast-paced climate of retail in which I worked, I was used to multi-tasking and completing my assignments with minimal supervision, under pressure, to meet tight deadlines.
Prices :
I am at your disposal to discuss your translation needs and how I may be of help to you. As a freelance translator, my general fee is 16˘ a word, but if you wish, I would be more than happy to do a short “trial translation”, free of charge (200 words or less).
