Professional experience :
After the university degree in translation, I have worked for several manufacturing companies, taking care of internal and external relations as an executive assistant. However, thanks to my degree in translation and my language skills, I have always done a lot of translation work.
As to the experience as translator (last 10 years), I work for Italian and foreign translation agencies, the local association of entrepreneurs as well as for private customers. I receive many different assignment, going from art catalogues to technical handbooks or corporate documents, because I work with 3 languages and also in various fields. This requires some more work, but will never interfere with quality and in the end it is much more interesting and stimulating.

Working method :
My translations undergo several editing stages, so that I can deliver the most accurate text. Thanks to the WEB, we now can rely on a great amount of resources for our translations. Anyway, I keep on buying the most recent dictionaries, glossaries, etc. that I need for my job as well as the most updated information equipment. I work with Windows+Office XP, DEJA VU + TRADOS and the usual ancillary programs (Norton, AcrobatReader, WinZip, OE/IE, etc.).
