Born and educated in Canada, I have lived and worked in North America, Europe and Latin America. My cross-cultural experience is combined with a doctorate in German and 15 years of second-language acquisition, working in the education and business sectors.
I have been working as a freelance translator in Chile for the past five years, mainly in the areas of medicine and science.
Throughout my career, I have consistently sought ways to improve both my linguistic skills and my knowledge in various areas to aid in translation and teaching. Most recently, I completed a technical and commercial writing program at a Spanish-speaking institute in Chile.
