Presentation :
I studied music at the Royal College of Music and subsequently went into arts administration, covering everything from working at the Royal Opera House to being PA to Barry Humphries, followed by 9 years in the auction business specialising in fine arts. During this time I developed my translation skills and passed the Institute of Linguists' Diploma in Translation, achieving a merit in the Technology paper (environment) and the Science paper (botany). I have been working as a freelance translator specialising in Music, Arts and Humanities, Biology and the Environment since 2005. Recent freelance work includes web pages for new ventures, advertisements for new and re-packaged products, commercial sale and purchase agreements, biographical material & programme notes, bids to tender for risk management projects, articles on wave power and photosynthesis.
