Presentation :
I have been translating for 24 years, 21 as a freelance translator, and now live in with my family and dog in the flat but beautiful fens of Lincolnshire.
I enjoy my work and take pride in it. I turn around between 2,500 and 3,500 words/day depending on the difficulty of the text and my familiarity with the subject matter.

Qualifications :
B.A. Combined Honours in Modern Languages (French/Spanish joint, German subsidiary)
Post-graduate Diploma in Technical and Specialised Translation (French, Spanish, Italian and German)
Professional experience :
I trained in-house with Interlingua (Ashurst Wood) and then Transtelex (London).
I spent 6 week working in-house for Clifford Turner (solicitors) in London, translating the evidence to be used in the Calvi (P2 Masonic Lodge/body under Blackfriar's Bridge) court case.
I work regularly for one of the largest Notaries in London, frequently translating pleadings and judgments in civil lawsuits, contracts and a wide variety of legal documents.
I have translated numerous Requests for Quotation, supply agreements and specifications for telecommunications networks in South America, Portugal, France, Italy and Spain for Siemens.
During the past 3 years I have translated over 500,000 words relating to the clinical and cosmetic uses of Botox, anti-retroviral drugs, anti-cancer drugs and pharmaceutical texts in general, including clinical trial protocols and documentation relating to veterinary products.
I also have years of experience in translating company financial reports and balance sheets/profit and loss accounts.
Prices :
0.10 - 0.12 Euro per source word.
Minimum charge 37.50 Euro
