Work experience
1994- present – English teacher and freelance translator
1994 – 1999 – I worked for “BIW-Systemhaus” as a translator and as a German teacher. I lectured German (Beginner’s Level) to the company’s staff members.
1990 – 1994 – Secretary to the R&D Director of the “College of Biotechnology” in Porto. Besides being responsible for the preparation, control and management of the daily schedule I was also assigned with the translation of all relevant documents: brochures, course programmes and regulation, scientific papers.
1989 -1990 – Foreign Languages Correspondent at “B.R.&A., Lda”- a Spanish advertising company where I was responsible for all administrative work and the translation of all important documents.
1988 – 1989 – Foreign Languages Correspondent at “Gabinete Portex”- Organization of International Textile Exhibitions and Fashion Shows.I was responsible for the contact with national and foreign exhibitors, the elaboration of the catalogues and supervision during the exhibitions and shows.
