Presentation :
I am a trained journalist as well as having a university degree in English and French business language. A journalist's crative way of writing combined with method and accuracy acquired from a university education. I am capable of performing many kinds of linguistic tasks. I have journalistic experience with written media from newspapers to annual reports, experience with radio broadcasting and with teaching.

My university degree in business language has been a launch pad for translation activities which embrace translation, editing, proofreading and copywriting.
Interests :
Fields of interests: Advertising, PR, copywriting. Tourism, travel, Animals, horses, dogs, cats. Religion, philosophy, christianity, buddhism.
Qualifications :
• 1981 Graduated from Danmarks Journalisthøjskole (school of journalism).
• 1999: Graduated from Syddansk Universitet (University of southern Denmark) My languages are English and French, and my main subjects are technical language and linguistic informatics. It means for instance that I have learned how to build web sites.
Professional experience :
Since 1999 I have translated all sorts of texts, but above all I have experience with translation texts in the field of advertising, public relation, marketing and tourism.

I translate English into Danish and Swedish into Danish. Swedish is a language I have known since childhood and learned from playing with Swedish children.

One of my specialyties is adaptation. I have written slogans and rewritten texts in order to give them a different tone of voice. I also appreciate special translation assignments like translation of blank verse.
