Presentation :
I am friendly, approachable, cooperative and reliable; a professional translator, with over 30 years' experience of translating mainly technical and engineering documentation. I started as a staff member of the translating department in a manufacturing company and after six years turned freelance.
References :
I have signed many confidentiality agreements and am therefore unable to give out the details of the translation companies for which I have worked in the past. Naturally the same applies to their industrial and other clients.
Interests :
I occupied the Chair of the North-West Translators' Network from 1999 to 2004 after serving on the committee as Membership Secretary. NWTN is a thriving regional group with around 150 translator and interpreter members.
Spare-time interests are music (I play the cello and have sung in choirs) and walking and cycling with my husband.
