I am a native English speaker, bilingual (English/Portuguese). I have been working as a free-lance technical translator (Portuguese/English) since 1991, freelance literary translator since 1998. I have translated numerous technical and literary texts: personal letters, legal contracts, birth certificates, company surveys and research, scientific abstracts related to ecology and the environment, oil company intern manuals, newspaper articles, travel and tourism magazines and websites, film scripts, subtitles, poetry and short fiction.
