Presentation :
I have made translations in my leisure time since 1994 and worked full-time as a freelance translator under the name Stone Translation since 1998. I have published several articles in a scholarly journal about the Danish language, and I am one of the very few who actually master both Danish comma systems.
Interests :
I translate between Danish, English and German, mainly technical documents for the steel and machinery trade and the medico-technical trade, but also legal documents and software.
Qualifications :
Specialised Language Diploma for English and German, BA in English. Trilingual commercial correspondent Danish-English-German, studied German at the open university for 4 years.
Professional courses :
Smith, crane and fork-lift truck driver.
Professional experience :
5 years as a journeyman smith at various companies, 10 years with quality assurance and documentation in the district heating trade, 3 years as a commercial correspondent in the machinery trade.
Prices :
To be agreed in each individual case, normally calculated per word or per hour.
