I am 40 years old, living together with my family in the middle of Norway. I am working togheter with my wife, which is a technical translater as well. This is very helpful creating a healthy environment for excellent translations, and it gives us an edge to other freelance translator, often sitting alone.

Qualifications :
I have worked as a service technician on copymachines for almost 9 years. During these years, I have acquired indepth knowledge of electro mechanics, electronics and computers.
After that, I worked as a salesman, selling the same kind of equipment. At the same time, I took several courses in computer- and data technics (university level) as a step towards working as a translator.
I started working as a translator in february 2003.

84 % match and below 100 % of full rates
85-94 % match 50 % of full rates
95-100 % match and repetitions 25 % of full rates
Working method :
I require a contract/ working agreement prior to start of project.
My workload per day is max. 2000 new words. I prefer to do a little less per day, to ensure that the quality of my work is kept at a constant high level.
I accept several methods of payment. Payment normally within 30 days upon delivery.

Main computer with AMD XP1800 processor, 40 GB harddisk and 256 MB RAM. Spare computer with Intel 333 MHz processor, 4 GB harddisk and 128 MB RAM. I have a home network.
