Presentation :
I have been working as a freelance translator specializing mainly in human rights since 1998 after working for 19 years as a researcher or campaigner in the Americas Program of Amnesty International's International Secretariat in London. During that time and before, I travelled extensively in Latin America and the Caribbean, including Chile, Peru, Mexico, Nicaragua, Cuba and Haiti. As well as doing regular translation work for AI, I have translated two books on military courts and international law for another international NGO as well as doing work for other international NGOs and IGOs and individuals and agencies.

MA with distinction in Applied Translation Studies (London Metropolitan University)
Final Diploma in Spanish of the Chartered Institute of Linguists
