CV
Presentation :
I am a Sydney-based professionally qualified translator from French into English, with extensive experience in a variety of subject areas, especially legal documents, and highly developed research and language skills.
Sydney is around 8 hours ahead of many parts of Europe, further ahead of locations in the US. This can be an advantage for work that needs to be ready "overnight" or shortly after a weekend.
As well as having lived and studied in France, I have tertiary qualifications in French, philosophy, linguistics and general humanities, including a doctorate, as well as substantial experience in the more practical end of handling texts: proofing, copyediting and layout.
