Presentation :
I am an Electrical Engineer, with 2 years of a B.Comm ãnd a certificate on Computer Science.
I do technical and literary translations (3 French novels published).
My most recent translations were manuals for an Electrical Power Plant and user's manuals for an MP3 Jukebox and a DVD Reader.
Interests :
Reading in all fields: technical books, the sciences, history, philosophy, literature, etc. Movies, writing, anything to do with space exploration and computers.
Qualifications :
A Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Part of a B.Comm.
A Certificate in Computer Science: Web design, programming (Java, C++, Visual Basic, etc.), Databases, etc.
Professional experience :
Translating was always part of my job as an Engineer, particularly while I was working in Mozambique (technical manuals, user manuals for equipment, technical articles, etc.)
For the past 4 years I have been working as a freelance translator
