I am a Mechanical Engineer retired as a Director of a major Portuguese Shipyard in 2001. I have since then been
working as an independent consultant and a bilingual (English/Portuguese and Portuguese/English) freelance technical translator. I have nevertheless, carried out technical translation works both at my employement and in private part time activity since 1971.
