TECH GmbH was founded in December 2001 in Zurich. Our company provides exclusive services in the translation and language data processing fields.
Our activities focus on the translation of technical texts, documentations, and websites. We also offer a range of services in consulting, terminology work, and language data processing.
You, the customer, take centre stage. Our goal is a trusting and long-term relationship with you, a partnership in all aspects of the translation process. We make every effort to provide you with all-round support and to develop a cogent concept for tackling your commissions.

Tarife :
Rates for translation and terminology work depend on many factors. The price for our services is determined by the complexity of the text, the size of the project, the text type (advertising texts, general technical texts, highly specific texts, etc.), the data format, and the quality of the source text.
Additional costs are incurred, for instance, for documents we don’t receive in electronic form that we have to scan or process in some other way. Documents requiring graphic post-processing, like PowerPoint presentations, websites, DTP formats, etc., also mean higher costs.
Terminology work depends on what material the customer can supply. This can include existing translations, translation memories, glossaries, etc. Rates also depend on the format in which the terminology is to be delivered.
We calculate exact rates once we have examined your texts and the material you are able to supply. Send us an email or give us a call! We’ll be happy to make you an offer.
Prices for compiling or maintaining terminologies are subject to negotiation.
Express Commissions
There is a surcharge of 25% to 75% for express orders (within 24 hours or weekends). The surcharge is necessitated by short-notice availability of translators and additional night and weekend work.

New customers enjoy a 5% discount on their first commission!
We give further discounts for commissions exceeding CHF 5000/€ 3500 ! And if you plan your translations a long time in advance you can save still more!

We make you an exact offer on the basis of a test document or original document – without any obligation to you.
Consultation
Close cooperation and consultation with you, our customer, makes sure that we take full cognizance of your needs and wishes. Often you may be aware of translation problems that can be identified and eliminated at this preliminary stage.
Preparation
Every project is tailored to meet the specific requirements of the customer. This means that terminology, translation memories, and reference material are prepared for the translator/s. Certain documents have to be converted and processed before the translator can work with them.
Translation
The texts are entrusted to experienced specialists well versed in the subject matter of the project.
Revision
Every text is checked by another specialist translator or expert. This step is necessary to ensure correct linguistic usage and internal coherence.
Layout & Formatting
The use and insertion of illustrations and diagrams, layouting, conversion of electronic file formats, printouts or transfer to the desired data carriers.
Final inspection
The entire product is scrutinized a final time to ensure that our high quality standards have been met.
Delivery
We deliver by the agreed date and in the form you request, for example, in print, on CD-ROM, Zip, etc.
Ongoing support
Our work isn’t over with delivery. We place great value on hearing your opinion on the translation and the overall product so that we can constantly improve the quality of our service.
